The Greatest Television Shows Ever? A Personal List

Here are a few of the TV programmes that have touched me in some way, shape, or form. Needless to say this list reflects my biases and my ignorances--I haven't had the opportunity to see a lot of global television something I think is a sad commentary on US TV. The geographical limitations on viewing global TV over the web are truly annoying. This list is in no particular order other than geographical. For the most part I haven't included shows still in production for the obvious reason--we have no idea what will happen with them. This list, of course, remains in progress...
