Where I, Ron, blog on a variety of different subjects--social theoretical, historical, cultural, political, social ethical, the media, and so on (I got the Max Weber and Mark Twain in me)--in a sometimes Niebuhrian or ironic way all with an attitude. Enjoy. Disagree. Be very afraid particularly if you have a socially and culturally constructed irrational fear of anything over 140 characters.

Dear Rick Won't You Give Me a Voter ID Card...
If mostly Republican run states, you know the states run by the party of mostly White aging men, are so concerned about voter fraud why don't they spend tax payers money in order to bring all citizens to public offices where they can then provide them with acceptable ID cards so they can vote? Oh I get it. Voting is not a right for certain demographics that won't be voting for you in the Republican mind. This is what the party of Lincoln has become, a party that inhibits voting rather than one that expands it. They really are latter day Dixiecrats.
